Policies

Corporate Social Responsibility

At the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal, we recognise the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as a fundamental aspect of our operations.

  • Disclosure Policy

This policy concerns the approach that the Tribunal will adopt in the event of a request by a non-party for the supply of documents which are held by the Tribunal pursuant to its statutory function under the Solicitors Act 1974 to hear and determine applications made to it under that Act.

  • Judgment Publication Policy

As a service to the public and the profession, the Tribunal publishes Judgments on our website unless the Division of the Tribunal which determined a specific case directs otherwise. This policy sets out our principles and approach to publishing judgments.

  • Policy & Practice Notes on Adjournment

The following practice note is to give guidance to Applicants and Respondents who seek an adjournment of a hearing the date of which has been fixed.
