Join Our Board as a Non-Executive Director

We are seeking to appoint a new Non-Executive Director to support the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal as it enters its next chapter.

This is a significant opportunity to contribute at board level during a period of strategic refinement and modernisation. We are looking for an individual who brings strong oversight, a clear commitment to integrity and impartiality, and a focus on excellence in legal regulation.

The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing financial governance and ensuring value for money and long-term sustainability across our services. They will hold a recognised accountancy qualification with current professional body membership, and have senior-level experience in finance, audit, or commercial strategy in the public, private, or regulatory sector.

The SDT actively promotes equality, diversity and inclusion, and we welcome applications from individuals from all backgrounds and communities. We are committed to supporting applicants throughout the process and can offer assistance with reasonable interview-related costs, including travel and childcare.

If you are committed to continuous improvement and high standards and wish to make a meaningful contribution to the future direction of the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal.
