SDTAL Directors

Laurence Gilford (Solicitor Member) and Lesley McMahon-Hathway (Lay Member) have each been elected, unopposed, by the SDTAL membership for a second and final term as Directors of the Tribunal’s administration company Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal Administration Ltd (SDTAL).  Each term will commence on 4 July 2015 and last for three years. Laurence and Lesley will also serve as members of the SDT Policy Committee for three years from the same date.

Lesley and Laurence became SDTAL Directors and Policy Committee members on 3 July 2012. Both enjoyed their terms of office, as evidenced by their decision to put their names forward for re-election. The confidence of the SDTAL membership in their ability to perform in the best interests of the public, the profession, and the Tribunal is evidenced by the absence of competition.

We congratulate Laurence and Lesley and wish them many opportunities in the next three years to prove that they and the membership made the right decision.
