Andrew Spooner has been reappointed by Tribunal Members as President of the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal for a second term of three years to commence on 4 July 2015. Andrew’s current term of appointment expires at midnight on 3 July 2015.

Andrew commented on his reappointment as follows:

“I am both honoured and delighted to have been reappointed as President of the SDT for a further term of three years.  These are exciting times for the Tribunal: we are currently recruiting a number of new Members and senior staff and there continue to be important issues affecting the legal regulatory market place.

The SDT continues to play a vital role in helping to ensure that the highest standards of professional conduct are maintained in the best interests of the public and the profession and I am proud to have a part to play in this ”.

Tribunal Members and staff congratulate Andrew on his reappointment and look forward to working with him towards the achievement of the SDT’s aims.
