Jeremy Barnecutt

The President of the Tribunal, Edward Nally, is sorry to announce the death of former President and Solicitor Member Jeremy (Jem) Barnecutt on 5 July 2018.

Jem was a member for 20 years and served as both Vice-President (2003-2009) and President (2009-2012) and was an inaugural director of Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal Administration Limited, and its Chairman. Jem worked tirelessly for the good of the Tribunal and is fondly remembered by those he sat alongside who particularly remember his wisdom, kindness and innate sense of fairness.

The Members of the Tribunal and staff send Jem’s widow Nicky and their family deepest sympathy at this difficult time.
