Consultation on proposed amendments to the Policy on the Supply of Documents to a Non-Party

The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal (“the Tribunal”) has launched a consultation on proposed amendments to its Policy on the Supply of Documents to a Non-Party.  The consultation will run from 26 November 2019 to 10 January 2020.

The existing policy has been reviewed and amendments proposed in the light of developments in case law and the Tribunal’s practical experience of applying the current policy. The proposed draft policy contains additional guidance for applicants and other Tribunal users.

The Tribunal is seeking views on whether the proposed draft policy is fit for purpose.

The consultation is available here.
